Students 13 years old or younger must have an adult accompany them to class.
If you do not show up for any class you have pre-registered for, you will be charged a late-fee of $5; if you un-register yourself or call the studio at least 10 minutes before the class start time, there will be no late-fee charged.
Remove your shoes upon entering the lobby and place them under the benches.
Silently wait to enter the practice space until the current class has finished.
Turn off or silence your cell phone and refrain from bringing them into the practice space.
Be mindful of your energy and attitude when arriving and throughout each practice as it can impact the experience of others. We have created a space that is supportive, nourishing, energizing and a haven from the stresses of daily life.
Keep volume of any conversations lower, as our studios have limited space between the lobbies and practice rooms, allowing sound to travel easily.
Keep conversations to a minimum inside the practice space as others take the time to settle into their experience in silence.
If you choose to veer away from any teacher’s offerings, please do so in a silent and respectful manner so as not to disrupt or distract others. If the teacher feels you are pulling attention towards yourself, they may ask you to adjust in some way.

Every journey starts with the initial step towards your desires. At Meta, we support the traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga perspective of come as you are. Bring all sides of yourself, and together we will uncover your pathway. No need to be flexible or wear fancy yoga clothing. We welcome you just as you are every time and are excited for you to join us in experiencing our Meta Kula. Below are some suggestions you may find helpful to prepare for your first visit.
Choose a pass style - Meta Yoga’s rates are progressive, getting move bang for your buck when committing to move visits. Come in for a single class or plan on several classes a week. All punch passes are transferable between clients. You can view all of our rates here.
Pick your studio - We have two locations 15 minutes apart from one another. The Breckenridge studio is all room temperature classes with outdoor options in the summer. The Frisco studio has all warm (86°F) and hot (96°F) classes, notated in the class title listing. If you have an unlimited pass or punch pass, it will work between the studios.
Sign up for your first Meta class! All class styles can be viewed here. Keep in mind that each teacher leans into these class descriptions with their own styles and flair, making no two classes exactly the same. If you are looking for guidance of what class to choose, some suggestions to get you started are…
first yoga class ever - try our Align + Flow or Gentle Flow classes
find your flow state - dive into Align + Flow, Gentle Flow, Power Vinyasa, Slow Flow, or Vinyasa
lovers of a challenge - you’ll find it at Hot 26+2, Power Vinyasa, Slow Burn, Yoga Sculpt, and SUP Yoga
seeking a slower pace - look into Align + Flow, Nourish + Restore, Slow Flow, or Yin Yoga
coming out of physical recovery - you may find support in Better Back, Deep Hips, and definitely at Nourish + Restore
We suggest bringing the minimum of a water bottle, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, and an open mind. Our studios do have loaner yoga mats as needed. If you are taking a hot class, you may also consider bringing a towel with you. There is a variety of clothing and prop support available in our retail.
We suggest leaving behind strong perfumes or colognes, phones, and loud conversations that may disturb fellow students.
Read through Meta’s Student Expectations and Studio Etiquette above before your first visit.
Arrive 10-15 minutes before class. You will have time to check-in with the front desk, meet your teacher, and become acquainted with the studio space. This is the perfect time to approach your teacher to introduce yourself and share any injuries that may hinder you, and address any other questions or concerns you have.
